Growing In Faith Through Service (G.I.F.T.S.) is a new class at Covenant that will develop into a monthly opportunity for people to learn more about themselves, their personal spiritual gifts, their personality types, and how they can best employ those gifts at Covenant and beyond.

The Faith for Today class is usually held on three consecutive Mondays from 7:00 — 9:00 pm. and if for all those interested in joining Covenant Lutheran, or those seeking to better understand the Lutheran faith.

Confirmation Classes are for all students in grades 6-8, as well as older students who wish to participate. Led by Pastor Otto along with a team of adult small group leaders, the confirmation program features large group music, learning and fun events plus small group discussion and prayer.

Here at Covenant, young people begin receiving Holy Communion at various ages. The decision about when they are ready is made jointly by the parents and child plus the Pastor. Covenant Lutheran Church offers First Communion Workshops twice each year, normally during February and October.

Caring for children is at the heart of Christian ministry and ministry at Covenant. When we help children grow - we grow. When we teach the faith to children - we come to believe more deeply ourselves. When we hear their faith coming back to us - we are blessed indeed.

Through a variety of Adult Education classes happening at Covenant, we believe that we are not only called to attend services but that we continue to grow and learn about our faith on a weekly basis. Sundays should be a two hour experience including worship and education. That is why we offer classes for just about anyone and we continue to update our class roster every month.
