Mission Statement

Covenant Lutheran Men in Mission join with God to create an environment where men can develop a closer more meaningful relationship with Christ by providing opportunities for fellowship, service and growth.

Fellowship Opportunities

  • Saturday morning breakfast: 7:00 am every Saturday morning at Denny's on Hwy 6 near Keith Harrow.
  • Monthly dinners: Each second Tuesday at 7:00 pm we meet and dine at Pine Forest Country Club.
  • Golf Outings: Spring and fall golf outings are at Bear Creek Golf Course.
  • Softball Teams: Join us in taking on other church teams in the area on Sunday afternoons throughout the Spring.
  • Open Gym: Occasional Saturday afternoons come join us for either basketball or volleyball.

Service Opportunities

  • Rebuilding Together: We give something back to the community by participating in home rebuilding projects several times each year. For more information on this organization, visit their web site.
  • Pancake Breakfast: Every Easter the Men’s Group prepares breakfast for all that attend worship.
  • Church Improvement Projects: The Men’s Group supports improvement projects around our campus which has included new ramps to the outside classroom buildings, developing the playground and clearing brush. With over 10 acres to maintain and develop, we are blessed with service opportunities to increase the use of the property.

Growth

  • Small group Bible studies: Several small groups meet regularly to explore the Bible and translate it into their personal life experiences.
  • Marriage Seminar: The Men’s Group supported a seminar led by one of our members that dealt with the man’s role in a successful marriage.
  • National Men’s Gathering: Covenant actively supports the National ELCA Men in Mission programs. Every two years we send representatives to National Gatherings. For more information on the ELCA Men in Mission organization, please click on the following web site link.
