Purpose:

The purpose of Emmaus is to help people see Christ through the creative arts by supporting and enhancing the ministries of Covenant Lutheran Church. Emmaus is designed to provide opportunities of service where members can minister to each other, to the church and to the community with a spirit of service, excellence, and humility.

• We believe that through the creative arts, people can become closer in their walk with their Lord Jesus Christ
• We believe that whatever we do, it is for God’s glory and not our own
• We believe that as worshippers of God and as worship leaders we are to strive in growing our own relationships with God through Bible Study, prayer, and adult education classes
• We believe God’s word is a foundation for faith and life and is the basis of what we do in Emmaus
• We believe in seeking to grow and hone our skills through learning and listening

Requirements:

• Commitment to Covenant as your church home
• Support the pastoral leadership of CLC through prayer and action
• Attend services and be a regular giver for at least 6 months
• Regular worship attendance
• Come with no personal agendas
• A willingness to contribute and learn
• Audition or apply for position desired
• Strong acting, musical, A/V skill/potential
• Attend workshops twice a year
